About My Camp - cost $265
Now in its 9th year, Gallahue Hockey camp helps create skilled hockey players in a highly competitive atmosphere. We do this by getting skaters outside of their comfort zones and helping them become a well-rounded player and athlete.
We Will have 2 different sessions this camp. One session will be for players who will be a mite or squirt this season. The other session will be for those players who will be a peewee, Bantam or high school level next season. All sessions will be held at the Cottage grove ice arena, and a total of 12 sessions
During our camp we will work on various skills crucial to building a complete hockey player. Power skating technique, shooting in all situations, stick handling, passing and body contact will all be areas of focus. I run each session and always have additional support so we ensure each player receives plenty of instruction and feedback.
We use small games to help develop the players hockey sense, and put them in situations where they need to read and react to what is happening on the ice. Small area games are great way to reward players for their hard work at the end of each session and it keeps it fun for the kids! We teach your player how to give and take a check along the boards and in open ice, how to use proper body positioning, and proper angling techniques. We ensure the player knows how to use their body safely and effectively so they are ready for the next level. This is a key factor as the kids move up in age, and our goal is to keep them from losing confidence when the game becomes much more physical.
We have an experienced staff who have a passion for the game and many years of coaching and playing experience. We strongly believe that every individual has the potential in them and we try to tap into that energy by giving the kids feedback in a motivating manner. We also take pride in helping each player develop into a leader on and off the ice.
Due to the recent COVID concerns, I have attached a sheet provided by Cottage Grove Arena that outlines the precocious and guidelines the rink is taking to keep our players and staff safe. Once registered for the camp we will send a detailed agenda of what we expect from our players each session

The cost for camp will be $240 per player and we will offer a discount to those families with multiple players. If you would like to register for camp please email me with your players name, level they will be playing next season and birthdate. Once registered I will send a waiver form to be signed and brought to the first session. Forms of payment included PayPal, Venmo or check.
